The terms Reproductive Health should be deleted from the Parliamentarian dictionary as nobody can agree on a definition. RH should definitely not include abortion. Mr.SzymaDski claimed a victory in that the Svensson report on gender discrimination in health systems was not adopted claiming that it encouraged paying women to hyperstimulate their egg-cells for research. State interventionsvia acts on fertility are not necessary. Changes in demographic population trends are better promoted by counselling/education by means of Catholic organisations MDG 5 on maternal mortality is being ignored, there is a conspiracy of silence. Sexuality education in the UK has led to many more teenage pregnancies, more sexually transmitted diseases (STIs). This is because abstinence is not included. (Care, Christian Action) is proposing a new type of sexuality education. Which includes sexual behaviour (abstinence?) SRHR has been introduced within EU policies, including various EP reports (part of speech New Women for Europe): - Hautala Report on Equal opportunities between women and men: employment, vocational training and working conditions (2000) : no comments made. - Van Lancker Report: On sexual and reproductive health and rights (2001) contains a series of wrong assertions: a) that liberal countries with access to sexuality education, contraceptives etc. have the least abortions, but Sweden, Denmark and the UK (the 3 most liberal countries) have the highest abortion rates. Greece on the contrary has the lowest although IPPF criticizes it for its restrictive SRH policy. b) high quality sex education and youth friendly SRH services will reduce teenage pregnancies. The speaker again referred to the 3 liberal countries and claimed the highest teenage pregnancy rates for them and also the highest STI rates c) the report calls for the availability of emergency contraception, i.e. abortion, but this is against its own article 8, where it states that abortion should not be used as a contraceptive. Abortion and contraceptives take away the urge to say no to sex. So the report promotes abortion, is not evidence-based and does not mention abstinence as part of sexuality education. - Sandbaeck report: on aid for policies and actions on reproductive and sexual health and rights in developing countries (2003): the title already contains rights and this is continued throughout the report. There are no safeguards against the promotion of abortion, no role for parents and it claims wrongly that contraceptives prevent pregnancies and HIV/AIDS. - De Keyser report: Annual report on the human rights in the world in 2003 and the Unions policy on this matter (2003) : introduces SRH as a human right, but no further comments. Conclusion: The definitions on SRHR in these reports lack clarity, do not refer to subsidiarity. The legal bases are vague, but if one looks at par. 35 of the Charter of Funadamental Rights there is reference to national laws, but not to SRH. The Constitution (par. 3) also refers to subsidiarity, so the EP has nor right to work on SRH - Mr Szymanski concluded that it is necessary to investigate the Van Lancker report as it is a strong example of feminism and its strong lobbying powers. It had been adopted by a small majority and he is convinced that had it been voted now it would not have been adopted. - The WHO definition of reproductive health is a desperate warfare against fertility, including massive efforts to ensure that contraception, sterilization, abortion and early institutionalised sexual education are in place - Fertility is seen as a disease by pro-choice advocates , while reproductive rights are focused on ensuring and glorifying sexual pleasure, but not on reproduction. Pregnancy is portrait as something one should be afraid of. Pro-choice advocates are obsessed with having control over reproduction, but forget the aspects Love and Care - The child is not seen as human being by the pro-choice advocates, not is the father given his proper role in the reproductive cycle. The bond between mother, father and child starts at conception. - Pro-choice advocates are accused of giving false information (twisting data to suit their arguments), of taking an emotional approach, of using politically correct language and of making fun of the opposition. They confuse the audience by giving too much (negative) information and regard the family as the Source of all evil - The pharmaceutical industry are accused of supporting the promotion of contraceptives for their own ends. - Pregnancy and childbirth is an enriching experience, gives the mother greater intellectual and psychological richness. The womb is a persons first environment so Protect the Womb - Reproductive Rights should enable a person to benefit from pregnancy , to recognize her fertility and not force her to use contraception. $|| ` b @ A B 1E\k{+15YjOBû˧˧óóóÝhZvhZv56h<@hZvh0^6hZvh<@6hZvhx9 6hZvhZv6hx9 hZv hq=hq=hh0^hhq=h,h{>+hwvhwv5>*hwv=b d ]rh^hgdx9 gd & Fgdq=gdq=gdh^hgd & Fgd,a5l%6YtDY fDEVgd^gdh^hgdx9 BUfJ -uvJhijab-2T !"" This is worrying for the government so bigger families need to be stimulated. So do not talk about responsible parenthood as that will tempt parents to have fewer children to offer them better chances. Better to talk about responsible upbringing as that can be done in big families. ]5^5`5a5hh5 h5 hhx,1h/ =!"#$% @@@ NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH DA@D Default Paragraph FontRiR Table Normal4 l4a (k(No ListO8 z z z OXMfgstMb \ q & I d 4 IV45FYZPR_|S X8RTDJKLMNQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!fgstMb \ q & I d 4 IV45FYZPR_|S X8RTDJKLMNQ00000 00 00 00 00 00 00 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000B]5a5Vd#a5a58@0( B S ??
